Darrell was the son of Wesley Harold Wilkinson and Opal Virgie Phillips Wilkinson. He married Zelma May Linger April 10, 1952. They were the parents of Dale Allen, Dennis Harold, Sandra Denise and Sharon Sue.

Harley D. Wilkinson, 81, went to be with the Lord July 31, 2011.

He was born Nov. 12, 1929 in Sistersville, W. Va. He was a member of VFW, attended Rock of Ages Church in Cuyahoga Falls, retired from PPG, then went to work for Master Maintenance Company until he retired.

Preceded in death by parents, Wesley and Opal; step-mother, Lillian Wilkinson; grandparents, Otie and Malissa Wilkinson, John and Attacarrata Phillips; and grandson, Jake Munsey; he is survived by wife of 59-1/2 years, Zelma; children, Dale (Cindy), Dennis, Sandra (Randall) Munsey, Sharon Boito; grandchildren, Michele Bodner, Jennifer Bodner, Joshua Boito, Darrell Boito, Amanda Boito, Jud Munsey, Mickey Munsey; great-grandchildren, Jayda Leidecker, Isaac Leidecker; brother, Scottie Wilkinson; sister, Carolyn (Marvin) Hunt; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service 8/05/11, Friday, 2 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home, 222 Norton Ave., Barberton, OH 44203, Pastor Emolus Lattea officiating. Calling hours Thursday, 5 to 8 p.m. Burial at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery Monday, 8/08/11 at 2:30 p.m. Cox, Barberton, 330-745-3311
