Dorothy E. McNatt, 84, of Boiling Springs, died Saturday, Aug. 28, 2004, in Carlisle Regional Medical Center.

Born Nov. 1, 1919, in Norristown, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Bertha (Frank) Undercoffler.

Mrs. McNatt was the widow of James D. McNatt Sr.

She was a 1937 graduate of Collegeville High School and worked in the dining hall at Ursinus College for 18 years. She also worked at Facenda-Whitaker Bowling Lanes until her retirement in the early 1990s.

Mrs. McNatt was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church in Carlisle, where she also attended the adult Sunday school class. She was a member of the Elks Lodge Ladies Auxiliary in Collegeville and Carlisle Newcomer Club.

She was an avid bowler who was active with the Senior Citizens Bowling Club at Midway Bowling Lanes in South Middleton Township. She loved traveling and was a Philadelphia Phillies fan.

Survivors include a son, James D. McNatt Jr. of Boiling Springs; two daughters, Janice E. Kennedy of Collegeville and Linda C. Holcomb of Denver, Colo.; a brother, Donald Undercoffler of Deland, Fla.; a sister, Gladys Stanley of Centerville, Va.; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry and Russell Undercoffler, and two sisters, Mildred Undercoffler and Marian Conway.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Otterbein United Methodist Church, 647 Forge Road, Boiling Springs, with the Rev. Dr. David L. Reed officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ Cemetery, Collegeville.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. Wednesday until time of services in the church.

Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, Carlisle, is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Otterbein United Methodist Church, 647 Forge Road, P.O. Box 37, Boiling Springs, PA 17007.
