R. R. Humble Dies At Bladensburg
Lifetime Resident Was 82 Years old; Funeral Wednesday at 2 PM.
Richard R. Humble, 82, lifetime resident of Bladensburg vicinity, died at the home in Bladensburg today at 8:40 AM of pneumonia. Surviving are three sons, Charles and Sanford Humble of Bladensburg and Drury Humble of Agency; four sisters, Mrs. Christina Carter of Ottumwa, Mrs. J. N. Reddick of Kansas and Mrs. Clarence Boyd and Mrs. Frank Dunn of Highland Center, and two brothers, Elias Humble of Eldon and Shelby Humble of Ottumwa. He was preceded in death by his wife 11 years ago and by three sons. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 PM in the Bladensburg Christian church, conducted by Orville Smith. Burial will be in the Bladensburg cemetery. The body will remain at the Reese Chapel until time for services. Pallbearers will be Walter, Marion, Raymond, Lee, Lawrence and Donald Humble.
