LLOYD A. ABBOTT, 88, of Tampa, died Sunday. A native of Craigville, Ind., he had been a resident of the Tampa Bay area since 1921, coming from Indiana. He was a retired 39-year postal supervisor and a member of Lake Magdalene United Methodist Church, Kiwanis Club of Tampa, a member and former, chaplain of Hillsborough Lodge 25 F&AM of Tampa Consistory of Scottish Rite, 32nd degree Mason, a member of Zenoah Grotto KKH, Egypt Temple Shrine and Egypt Temple Honor Patrol, Lebanon Shrine 6 Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem, the Royal American Shrine Club, National Association of Retired Federal Employees, American Legion Post 5, and an honorary member of Florida Sheriffs Association. He is survived by two daughters, Lois Yost and Margie Denham, both of Tampa; and four grandchildren. F.T. Blount Co. Funeral Homes, Tampa Chapel.
