Fred E. Lines passed way Tuesday at his home on Lake St. For a number of years he had been in failing health, suffering from creeping paralysis, which caused his death. Last November he fell from top of the porch and never fully recovered. Mr. Lines was the fourth son of Mr. & Mrs. Linus Lines; who passed away in the village some years ago.
Born in Linn, Walworth County, Wisc. in a log home on March 29, 1849. Moved to Barrington Township, just west of the Jackson farm, when a young boy. He learned carpentry, when young.
On November 11, 1877, married Miss Emma Jane McIntosh, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. M.B. McIntosh. Four children survive, R. Max, Arnett C., Miss Jennie & Mrs. Viola Newton of Maywood; One brother L.R. Lines, & two grandchildren.
