Johan August Feicho (originally spelled Fecho) was born in Kazubek, Kolo, Poznan, Poland (German Poland). He married Henriette Hinz on April 30 1876. She died sometime before February 25, 1878, when he married Wilhelmine Pusch in Babiak, Kolo, Posnan, Poland. They had five children that we know of: Rosalie born in 1877 or 1879; Emil born in 1880; Emilie born in 1881; Albert born in 1888; and Edward born in 1896. The first three were born in Lipiny, Kolo, Poznan, Poland.

It appears August immigrated to the United States without Wilhelmine, sometime before 1903 when his daughter Emilie came to meet him in Bethlehem, PA. For the last 13 years of her life, Wilhelmina lived with her daughter Emilie. From death records, we know that August did not live at that address. We also know that he was hospitalized for seven months before he died.

We know that Johan August was a laborer, perhaps worked at the Union Stockyards and is reported to have been a custodian at a dance hall.
