Mrs. Bertha Karch 1211 S. 24th St., widow of Harry Karch, died Monday evening at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Mary Waymire, of Franklin. Her husband died in 1930. She was a member of the Church of God. Surviving are eight children,

Karch and Mrs. Charles Ball, all of Elwood; Merle Karch of
Portage; Harry Karch of Royal Oaks, Mich.; and Harold Karch
St. Joseph, Mich.; a sister, Mrs. Mollie Tolloch of Mentone,
Ind; a brother, Ben Benedict, of Pennsylvania; and several
grandchildren. The body is being returned to the Copher and Fesler Funeral Home, where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ed Finley of the Elwood First Baptist Church, in charge. Interment will be in the Brookside cemetery, at Windfall.
