George Roland "Rollie" Denison

Age 83, of Mt Pleasant, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2003 at Central Michigan Community Hospital. Funeral services for Rollie will be held on Sunday, January 19 at 3 pm from the First United Methodist Church with Rev John Boley and Rev Ronald Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 18 from 2-4 and 7-8 pm at Clark Funeral Chapel, 114 S Bradley Street, Mt Pleasant, MI, 989-775-9943. Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church-Organ Fund or CMU Development Fund. Envelopes will be available at Clark Funeral Chapel.

Rollie was born June 14, 1919 in Westboro, Ontario, Canada, the first child of Dalton and Winifred Denison.

He married Olga Jones on August 30, 1941.

Rollie served in the United States Navy. He was the president of Lease Management from 1959 until 1996. He was President and Owner of Denison & Associates, Inc. Rollie served as a Director, Treasurer, Vice-President and President of the Michigan Oil & Gas Association, member of former State Director of the Independent Petroleum Association of America.

Rollie is survived by his wife Olga of Mt Pleasant; children Spencer T. (Kara) Denison of Denver, Colorado, Diane (Dennis) Denison Dahnke of Beverly Hills and Daniel R (Graciela) Denison of Ann Arbor, Michigan; and also five grandchildren. Sisters, Shirley Wulff of Atlanta, Georgia, Connie Bitters of Tampa, Florida and brother D Spencer Denison of Vermont and sister-in-law Marjorie Denison of Big Rapids, Michigan.
