Daughter of Tollie and Bertha Thompson, Wife of John Pickell (1941- his death in 1957), wife of Alonzo Bledsoe (1963- his death in 1978) and mother of John (Dick) Pickell, Michael Pickell, Darrell Pickell, Douglas Pickell and Marlene Bledsoe. Mrs. Bledsoe was often referred to as "aunt Vi" by the many people who loved her. She worked for many years at the Oldsmobile plant in Lansing, Michigan.
