FAILLA Funeral Mass was held Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at 1:00PM in the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church for Alberta Mae Failla, age 83 of Picayune, MS, who died Sunday, March 16, 2008 in Picayune, MS. Burial was in the Lake Lawn Metairie Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home, Picayune, Mississippi. Father Michael Snyder will, officiated the service. A native of Abbeville, LA, she was a homemaker and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Beulah Hebert; and 2 brothers: Harris Hebert and Joe Hebert. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Dr. Joseph A. Failla of Picayune, MS; 6 daughters: Sharon Chauffe of New Orleans, LA, Beryl Haslauer of Slidell, LA, Marie Failla of Picayune, MS, Carla Waite of Perth, Australia, Stephanie Knight of Mandeville, LA, and Eileen Pigno of Orange, TX; 5 sons: Joseph A. Failla II of Metairie, LA, Anthony Failla of New Orleans, LA, David Failla of Picayune, MS, Andrew Failla of Pearl River, LA, and Christopher Failla of Picayune, MS; 31 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, 4 sisters, and 2 brothers. Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 from 12:00 noon until 1:00PM at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Picayune, Mississippi. The family requests that In lieu of flowers, memorials be made to to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 1000 Goodyear Blvd., Picayune, MS 39466.
