Leo W. Latzel, 62, of Harvard died Monday in Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.
Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Baptist Church at Neligh with the Rev. Eddie Smith officiating. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery at Neligh.
Mr. Latzel was born Dec 8 1922, at Clearwater. He farmed near Ewing until moving to Neligh in 1945. He moved to Lincoln in a951 and to Harvard in 1981. He was employed as a truck driver for Johnson Lumber Co. while living in Lincoln.
He was a World War II veteran.
Surviving are three daughters, Bonnie Starman of Grand Island, Barbara Stramel of Hastings and Irene Schriner of Edgar; one son, Allen of Harvard; three brothers, Albert of Ewing, Adolph Jr. of O"Neill and Charles of Lincoln; three sisters, Eleanora Becker of Aurora, Ore., Grace Walters of Lincoln and Freda Charf of Friend; and 13 grandchildren.
Brand-Wilson Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
