Mildred Winafred Brumbaugh, daughter of Fred and Addie Stafford was born April 16, 1906 in Republic County, Kan, and passed away April 6, 1964 at the Republic County hospital lacking seven days of being 58 years of age. Her education was received in the Morehead School near Republic, Kansas.
On Feb 1, 1922, she was united in marriage to Clinton Brumbaugh. Her enjoyment of life came from her friends and family and from her husband Clint who care for her in her handicap.
She spent most of her life in Republic County, with some time in Oklahoma and Nebraska and having lived in Belleville since 1953.
At the time of her death she was a member of the Central Christian church in Belleville.
She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Stafford. Survivors are her husband, Clint of the home, her mother, Mrs O D Grim, Step-father, O D Grim of Belleville, one step-brother , Marvin Grim of Mission, Kan, one Step-sister, Mrs Anona Milner of Belleville and several other relatives and friends.
Services were conducted Thursday April 9, 1964, at 2 pm from the Belleville Christian Church. Maurice Graham, minister conducting the service. Burial was in the Washington Cemetery.
