Rev. Cooper Dies Monday At Age 55
Rev. Jessie Wilson Cooper, 55, 309 E. Anderson, died of an apparent heart attack Monday afternoon while working on a new church for Pentecostal Mission at 501 N. 8th. He had been minister of the church several years.
Born May 11, 1915 at Kellyville, Mr. Cooper had lived in this area 40 years of his life. He lived in California 15 years.
He was state president of the Undenominational Christian Fellowship organization.
Survivors are his wife, Hazel M., of the home; five sons, Gene, Kellyville; Billy, 1325 N. 12th; Robert, 1339 E. Cleveland; S?4 Ronnie E., stationed in Vietnam; Leon of the home; three daughters, Voleta McClure and Naomi Conley of Tulsa; Patsy Childress, 702 S. Main 12 grandchildren.
And also five brothers, Ellis, 424 N. 9th; Floyd, Escalon, Calif.; Howard and Earl of Mt. View, Calif.; J. A. of Depew; two sisters, Ethel Morris, north of Sapulpa; Elsie Thomas, Ponca City.

Cooper Rites Slated Friday
Funeral services for the Rev. J. Wilson Cooper, 55, will be at 2 pm Friday at the Pentecostal church in Kellyville. Officiating will be the Rev. Vernie Edwards and the Rev. Leroy Sewell. Interment will be in Kellyville Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Alvie Welch, George Davis, Ralph Cox, James Barnett, Ernie Thompson, and Buddy Harrington.
