Bernard P. Vogel, 79, of 2911 Meadow Lane, Manitowoc, died Saturday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Duane Dionne will officiate and burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Whitelaw.
Mr. Vogel was born Jan. 20, 1895 at Whitelaw, son of the late John and Mary Spaeth Vogel.
He married Ida F. Zipperer June 17, 1919, at Whitelaw. They farmed in the Town of Cato until their retirement in 1959 when they moved to Manitowoc. Mr. and Mrs. Vogel celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1969. His wife preceded him in death May 5, 1974.
Survivors include two sons, Bernard, of Rt. 5, Manitowoc, and James, of Manitowoc; three daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Bernice) Swette, of Marinette, Mrs. Russell (Florence) Revenew, of Munster, Ind., and Mrs. Glenn (Delores) Cisler, of Rt. 1, Cato; two brothers, Frank, of Rt. 4, Manitowoc and Richard, of Rt. 3, Manitowoc; 17 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Two sons, Harold and Paul, two brothers and eight sisters preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday, where a wake service will be held at 7 p.m.
