Pearl Emily Jean McDaniel Holladay, 82, of Rapidan Road, Rapidan, Virginia, died at her residence on Monday, August 8, 2011.

She was born on July 14, 1929, in Charlottesville, Virignia, the daughter of the late Charles Frank McDaniel and Pearl Lena Brookman McDaniel. She was also preceded in death by three husbands, Clarence Monroe Fisher Jr., Clyde Michael Hoffman Sr., and Eston Holladay.

She is survived by three daughters, Delores "Dee" Ryder and husband, Mel, of Orange, Virginia, Carolyn Hoffman of Charlottesville, and Deborah Hoffman and Garvin Burgan Jr., both of Sharpsburg, Maryland; two sons, Clyde Hoffman Jr. and wife, Sheila, of Brightwood and Steve Hoffman of Manassas, Virginia; one brother, Willie McDaniel and wife, Sandra, of Montpelier Station, Virginia; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, August 11, 2011, at the Preddy Funeral Chapel in Orange officiated by the Reverend Greyson Delano. Interment will be held at the Graham Cemetery in Orange.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2011, at the funeral home.
