BERNARD F. LEGG, 87, of Huntington, passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born on November 4, 1922 in Guyandotte, WV, a son of the late Ernest and Lula Holley Legg.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Helen Lucas Legg;
five brothers and one sister.

He is survived by three sons,
Earl F. (Carolyn) Legg of Proctorville, OH,
Robert E. Legg of Ona,
Charles B. Legg of Huntington;
one daughter, Rachel M. Legg (Gary) Bias of Huntington; two sisters, Maxine Ash of Sarasota, FL and Clarice Doss of Guyandotte, WV;

10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren;
a special niece, Cheryl Ann Honigberg;
a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Mr. Legg was a veteran of the United States Navy Seabees, a lifetime member of VFW Post 9738, and a member of the 1st Altizer Freewill Baptist Church.

Funeral at the 1st Altizer Freewill Baptist Church in Guyandotte with Pastors Fred Ramey and Ivan Asbury officiating. Burial at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville.
