Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home. The Rev. Todd Bowen will officiate. Burial will be in the Grand Island City Cem.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Dahlke was born Jan. 8, 1916, at Wallworth to Fred and Clara (Hohman) Roach.
She grew up and attended District No. 1 School in Grand Island before graduating from Grand Island Senior High with the class of 1933.
After graduation she worked for Donald and Company in the coffee department.
She married Ernest Dahlke on Nov. 21, 1936, in Grand Island.
The couple lived in Grand Island where she was a wife and a homemaker raising her children.
From 1953 to 1956, she worked for the Peggy Newton Cosmetic Company. In 1956, she started her nursing career with St. Francis Medical Center. She worked for the hospital for many years finishing her career at Lakeview Nursing Home.
She enjoyed sharing her faith, going to Bible studies, working in her flower garden and spending time with her family. She was a member of Grace Covenant Church and a faithful supporter of the 700 Club.
Survivors include six daughters and sons-in-law, Deanna and Louis Klintworth of Marquette, Nancy and Kenneth Shultz of Doniphan, Connie and Douglas Kruse of St. Paul, Marilyn and Bernie Ziller of Tracy, Calif., Robin and Bruno Burgess and Sandra and Jerry Higgins, all of Olathe, Kan.; one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Verlee Dahlke of Kansas City, Mo.; 23 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Ruth Henning of Lincoln, Joyce Hodtwalker of Grand Island and Dorothy Worrell of Burley, Cassia, Idaho; and one brother, Jack Roach of Central City.
She was preceded in death by her husband; two sisters, Doris Ainley and Lucille Ward; and six brothers, James, Lee, Vern, Billy, Harold and Bob Roach.
