Funeral held Jul 7
for Herman Addink
Funeral services were held at Central Reformed Church here at 10:30 a.m. July 7 for Herman Addink, 89, retired Sioux Center farmer, who died July 4 at the Sioux Center Hospital.
The funeral services was conducted by the Rev. Jack Boerigter, pastor of the First Reformed Church of Sioux Cente,r and burial was made in Sioux Center Community cemetery under the direction of Vander Ploeg's Funeral Home.
Mr. Addink was born at Sioux Center April 17, 1881 and was a lifelong resident of the community. He was married to Jane Van Hull June 21, 1903, at Hull.
Survivors include the widow; a son, John H.; two daughters, Mrs. Joel (Alice) De Vos and Mrs. Fred (Gertrude) Zylstra; 12 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
