Albert Reinholt Klitz, 93, of Browns Mills, NJ, passed away Aug. 9, 2011. He was a native of Paterson, NJ, a resident of Maine for five years, and a resident of Browns Mills since 1952. Albert was a U.S. Army veteran during World War II. He was a retired welder/pipefitter for Central Jersey Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Local No. 9, Englishtown, NJ, where he was a member for 60 years. In his earlier years, when he was raising his family, Al was involved with Babe Ruth Baseball. He was a member of the Audubon Society and loved watching birds and taking care of his flowers. He also liked going to NASCAR races and short track modified racing. Al was the husband of the late Shirley, who passed away in 1997. He was the beloved father of Albert Klitz, and Norman Klitz and his wife Melinda, all of Browns Mills; Donald Klitz and wife Dottie of Arney's Mount, and Edward Klitz of Browns Mills; dear grandfather of Lisa, Jessica, Donald Jr., Shirley, Willow, Dawn, Edward II and Amanda; and great grandfather of Christopher, Morgan, Madeline, Keira and Cali. There will be a viewing and visitation for Albert from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday evening and 9 to 10:15 a.m. Tuesday morning at The Lankenau Funeral Home, 370 Lakehurst Rd., Browns Mills. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to Albert's funeral service at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2011, at The Lankenau Funeral Home, 370 Lakehurst Rd., Browns Mills. Interment with military honors will be in BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, North Hanover Township.
