Lois, 97, of Vernon, MI passed away Wednesday, at Memorial Healthcare, Owosso, MI.
Funeral Services were held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Corunna Chapel Corunna, MI on Saturday, August 13, 2011, with Pastor Russell Hubbard and Pastor Fred Lab officiating.
Lois was the daughter of Leslie Franklin and Honor Catherine (Henley) Wilson. Pearl resided most of her life in Vernon, MI. She was first married to Wallace Stetson Adams in Owosso, MI on March 22, 1941. He passed away on June 17, 1979. Pearl then married Jack L. Huffman on May 9, 1985 in Vernon, MI. He passed away in October of 1999.
The most important thing to Pearl was her family and loved it when everyone was together. She retired from Universal Electric of Owosso in 1976.
She loved to take trips with the Senior Citizens, playing Minnie Pearl. Pearl also sang with the choir at Lighthouse Church, Vernon, MI, where she and Wallace were founding members. She also enjoyed bowling, playing cards & all games, camping, going up north and especially shopping at Shipshewana with her daughters and granddaughters.
She is survived by 2 daughters; Brenda and Fred Lab of Owosso, MI, Barbara and Donald Danklefsen of Angola, IN, 2 sons; Gail Adams of Durand, MI, Randy and Pamela Adams of Morrice, MI, 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews in Florida.
Pearl was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, a daughter Albra, 3 sons; Richard, Harold and Leroy, 2 grandsons; Richie and Lonny and 2 sisters; Lillian and Chloe.
