Word has been received here of the death of Jessie Mae Kinworthy, 66, of The Woodlands, Texas. She died Wednesday, April 17, 1996, at Houston. She was a former resident of Columbus.

Funeral will be conducted at 4 p.m. Friday at Forest Park The Woodlands Chapel in Conroe, Texas. Burial will be at Forest Park The Woodlands Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Sunshine Kids or Bartholomew County Area Hospice.

Survivors include children, Blanche Badger and Dennis McFarland, both of Columbus, Barbara Day of Indiana, Sherry Stansel of Conroe and Pam Reed of The Woodlands; sisters, Betty Scott of Louisville, Ky., and Patricia Martin and Delores Parsons, both of Shepherdsville Hill, Ky.; a brother, Charles Tate of Louisville; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. McFarland; a son, Terry McFarland; and a sister, Ruth Parsons.
