A former Idaho Falls resident, Adam L. Hunter, 63, Pocatello, died Wednesday afternoon in a Pocatello hospital. Hunter had entered the hospital for treatment of a heart illness from which he had been suffering since January,1957.

He was born May 6, 1893 in Preston, a son of Adam and Sarah Stevenson Hunter.

On Nov. 26, 1914 he married Emma Hill in Preston. Following the marriage they moved to Oakley where they farmed, after which they lived in Driggs and Shelley, where he also engaged in farming. In 1943, they moved to Idaho Falls where Mr. Hunter joined the Pacific Fruit Express of Union Pacific Co. And in 1945 was transferred to Pocatello where he had lived since.

In addition to his widow, he is survived by the following sons and daughters: Jack Hunger, former Idaho State patrolman who worked out of St. Anthony, now of Idaho Falls; Vernon and Rex Hunter of Worland, Wyo.; Mrs. Lloyd Kimball of Blackfoot; Commordore Hunter, Shelley; Forrest Hunter, Dunsmuir, CA; Mrs. Dee Summers, Ririe; Vaughn Hunter, Portland, OR; and Mrs. Robert Nave, Salt Lake City. There are also 28 grandchildren.

One sister, Mrs. Chester Neilson, Worland, Wyo., and two brothers, Cyril Hunter, Ogden and Donald Hunter, Soda Springs, also survive.
