Mrs. Alfred Davis
Funeral services for Mrs. Leona Sidney Davis, 44. of Load. Ky, are to be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Church of Christ at Load. Mrs. Davis, wife of Alfred Davis of Load, died at 6:10 a.m. Thursday in Lawrence General Hospital at Ironton, Ohio. She had been ill three weeks.
She was born Nov. 19, 1916, at Load, a daughter of Benjamin Osborne and Bess Dingus Osborne.
Besides her husband she is survived by two daughters, Helen and Carolyn Davis at home; son, Donald, also at home; the mother, Mrs. Bess Osborne of Load, a brother Homer Osborne of Springfield, Ohio.
Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her father and a brother.
The body was moved at 1 p.m. to the home of Paul Osborne at Load, where friends may call.
Rev. Henderson Morris of Load is to officiate at services. Interment is to be in Davis Cemetery at York, Ky. Morton Funeral Home at South Shore is charge of arrangements.
