Obit from Mitchell Times dated Wednesday, 19 Jun 1985: "Ann M. Taylor, 78, 401 W. Grissom Ave., Mitchell, died at 1:30 a.m. today at her residence. She was born June 3, 1907 in Lawrence County to Oliver and Annie Louise Campbell Allen. She married Clyde Taylor July 5, 1929 and he died Sept. 21, 1971. Surviving is one sister, Mrs. Avenell Duray, Mitchell. One brother and one sister preceded her in death. She owned and operated a grocery in New Castle for five years, in Bedford for seven years, and one in Mitchell for 10 years before her retirement . She was a member of the First Christian Church in Mitchell and the Naomi Circle of the church, serving as secretary. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Haverly Mortuary in Mitchell, the Rev. James Barton officiating. Burial will be in the Mitchell Cemetery."
