Albert moved to Alabama ca 1834. He built and lived at "Prarie Home" plantation. Married first (1) Ann Virginia Payne 10/21/1834. They had 5 children. Mrs. Ann Virginia Payne McGehee died 7/4/1848. She and the four children who died young are buried at the Concord Cemetery with him. He married second (2) Agnes Catherine "Kate" Venable 9/26/1855.
