MANILA, Utah—Graveside services for Katherine Suzann Ruble were Saturday, Sept. 24, at the Manila Cemetery with Bishop Glen Tinker of the Manila LDS Ward officiating.

A family prayer was offered by James Briggs at the Ruble home just prior to the services. Invocation at the services was given by Greg Gosar. The congregation sang “How Great Thou Art.” Donald Larsen was the speaker. Sharon Maras sang “Somewhere Out There.” She accompanied both songs on the guitar. The dedicatory prayer was given by Devin Richins.

Pallbearers were Allen Campbell and Daniel Ruble.

Honorary pallbearers were Robert Hatch, Cory Hatch, Elbert Steinaker Jr., Junior Hatch, Steven Hatch, Randy Steinaker and Curry Harlacker.

The Ruble child, a 2-month-old infant, died Wednesday, Sept. 21 at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County in Rock Springs of sudden infant death syndrome.

She was born July 2, 1988 in Roosevelt, Utah, a daughter of Ray L. and Lori Ann Hatch Ruble. She lived the first 14 days of her life in Provo, Utah, and the remainder in Manila.

Besides her parents of Manila, she is survived by a brother, William G. Ruble and a sister, Rae Ann Ruble, both of Manila; grandparents, Ivan and Mary Ruble, Manila, and Junior and Mary Hatch, Vernal, Utah; and a great-grandmother, Grace Hatch, Vernal.
