Harry L. Abbott, former employee of the Rome Manufacturing Co.,
died at his home in Worcester, Mass., Thursday, it was learned today.
He formerly lived in New York Mills.
During the war, he was a mechanical engineer and draftsman at the Savage Arms Company, Utica.
Mr. Abbott was born in Chester, Vt., February 26, 1873 and attended school at Worcester, being graduated at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
He was a talented violinist and was concert master of various orchestras.
In 1917, he married Bessie S. Hale, Utica, and they went to live in New York Mills.
She died in 1928 and he has made his home in Worcester since.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Charles Hitchcock, Worcester,
and two step-sons, R. D. (Raymond) Spencer and T. A. (Thomas) Hale, both of New York Mills.
