4/9/1953-Tuttle Times:
Mrs Dolly Harrell, 81, Tuttle, died Monday night in a Chickasha hospital. She was born in Arkansas and had lived in Tuttle many years. Services were 2:30 Wednesday afternoon at the Methodist church with E.G. Sifford officiating. She is survived by 3 daughters, Mrs Esther Lyle, Mrs Fred Moody, & Mrs Cecil Kettler, all of Tuttle, 1 son, Lee Harrell of Oklahoma City, 2 brothers, Nathan Hayes of Powderly, TX, & Lewis Reed of Paris, TX, 14 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. Burial was in Fairlawn cemetery, Tuttle, under direction of the Sowers funeral home.

4/16/1953:
Last rites were held for Mrs Dolly Ann Harrell, 81, at the Methodist church, Wednesday. Music was provided by a mixed choir. Pallbearers were: J.B. Hambleton, Horace Crisp, Clyde Rooker, Allie Spence, Will Bennett, & Roy Osborn.
Mrs Harrell was born in Camden, Ark, 12/20/1871 and was reared in Paris, TX. She died 4/6/1953 in a Chickasha hospital following a short illness. In 1896, she was married to Virgil Harrell, who died in 1928. Burial was in the Fairlawn cemetery under the direction of the Sowers funeral home.
