Mr. Louis Edgar Thompson, 60, of Greensboro died Wednesday, Dec. 25, 1996, at Wesley Long Community Hospital.
Mr. Thompson's funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 30, 1996 in Forbis and Dick North Elm Chapel. Interment, with military honors, will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Thompson was born on Sept. 21, 1936 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a retired security specialist with the U.S. Army and worked for WKEW radio station in Greensboro during the 1980's where he was known on the air as "Dan Quinn". Mr. Thompson was of the Roman Catholic faith.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia G. Thompson of the home; son, Christopher Thompson of Dallas, Texas; mother, Mrs. Dorothy May Brutsche of Cincinnati; sisters, Georgiann Dwelly and Linda Assher, both of Cincinnati, and Nancy Schulenburg of Indianapolis, Indiana.
