Mrs. Reuben Kasbaum, 47, of 1603 S. 25th St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday morning at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Bethany Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Robert Sawall will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Kasbaum, nee Geraldine Karbon, was born Jan. 29, 1925, at Branch, daughter of Mrs. Verna Knuell Karbon and the late Adolph Karbon. She attended schools in Branch and was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Manitowoc, with the Class of 1943. She was also a graduate of the Beauty
Culture Class of 1948. She was married to Reuben Kasbaum Dec. 3, 1949, at Manitowoc. She was a beautician and later was employed at the Aluminum Specialty Co., Manitowoc. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband, a son and two daughters (Survivors omitted for privacy.); her mother, Mrs. Verna Karbon; two brothers, Gordon, of Milwaukee and Allen, of Mishicot; two sisters, Miss Germaine Karbon, of Manitowoc and Mrs. Richard (Eunice) Vaughn, of North Fond du Lac.
Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. at the church until the time of service Thursday. Memorials may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church, Manitowoc, or the American Cancer Fund.
