Mrs. August Schwalbe Sr., 92, died Wednesday night at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ferd Schwalbe in the town of Eaton.

Funeral services will be held at the St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, town of Rockland, at 2 p.m. Saturday with Rev. Victor Weyland officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Schwalbe was born in the town of Gibson in 1859. She was a lifelong resident of Manitowoc County. The former Anna Damm, she married August Schwalbe in 1879. He died 20 years ago.

Surviving are: three daughters, Mrs. Herman Bloy, of Manitowoc, Mrs. Martin Valleskey, of Marshall, Wis., and Mrs. Charles Zutz of Brillion; three sons, Ferd and August of Manitowoc Rapids, and Theodore of Collins; a brother, William Damm of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Carrie Hammel of Milwaukee; three sisters-in-law, Mrs. Margaret Damm of Appleton, Mrs. Mathilda Lemke of Collins, and Mrs. Olga Lemke of San Francisco; and 18 grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Berge Funeral Home at Valders from 2 p.m. Friday until 10 a.m. Saturday when the casket will be moved to the church.
