M. C. (Mac) Haines, 70 years, of Fordyce, Greensboro Star Route, died Monday, October 24, 1960, in his home. He had been ill a long time. Mr. Haines was a son of Francis Burton Haines and Delphene Fox Haines, and was born November 10, 1889, at Mannington, W. Va. He was a tool dresser for many years and resided in Perry and Greene Townships nearly all his life. Mr. Haines was a member of the Assembly of God Church at Mt. Morris. Surviving are his wife, Daisy Renner Haines; two daughters, Kathryn, wife of Clarence Reed of Laurel Gardens, and Alene, wife of David Long of Mt. Morris; one son, Harry L. Haines of Columbus, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Husk of Pittsburgh; five brothers, Ellsworth Haines of Nitro, W. Va.; John C. Haines of Waynesburg R. D. 2; Clarence L. Haines of Greensboro Star Route, Waynesburg; Irwin Haines of Carmichaels R. D. 1, and William T. Haines of Mt. Morris. Funeral services were held Wednesday in the Assembly of God Church in Mt. Morris, conducted by Rev. W. C. Long and Rev. Allen Shuttleworth. Interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
