Mrs. Oscar H. Olm, 70 (above), former school teacher and active in church and women's groups in Manitowoc for many years, died this morning at the home, 1836 Michigan avenue, following a lingering illness. Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a. m. Saturday at the Pfeffer funeral home and at 9 o'clock at the Holy Innocents church, the Rev. E. A. Radey officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery. Born Catherine Doolan on a farm in Franklin in 1875, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Doolan. Her early education was in rural schools. She was graduated from high school in this city and later from the Oshkosh State Teachers college. She taught in this county, at Marinette and Yakima, Wash., both before and after her marriage, until retiring in 1930.
She was married to Oscar Olm, Collins cheese factory operator, in 1918. They resided there 10 years before moving to this city. Mrs. Olm was an active member of civic and church organizations being a past regent and charter member of the Daughters of Isabella. She was a member of the Catholic Women's club and the Altar society of the Holy Innocents church. Survivors are the husband; four sisters, Mrs. Mary O'Hearn of Franklin, Julia of Milwaukee, Agnes of Springfield, Ill., Clara of Franklin ; three brothers, John and James of Maple Grove and Bart of Iowa. The body may be viewed at the funeral home after 6 p.m.Thursday, where the rosary will be recited at 7 p. m. Thursday and 8 p . m. Friday.

Mrs. Olm at one time was employed at the editorial department of the Herald-News. The rosary will be recited by the Daughters of Isabella at the Pfeffer funeral home at 7 p.m. tonight and at 8 o'clock Friday evening by the Altar society and the Rev. E. A. Radley.
