Delmer Dare Culley, 95, of Sedona, passed away on March 4, 2009.

Born in Earlton Kansas on Jan. 12, 1914; the eldest son of William and Anna Culley. He and his wife Joyce, moved from So. California to Sedona in 1957. He is survived by wife, Joyce, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Navy Veteran, (Seabees); Dare served in the South Pacific in WWII.

Prior to the war, Dare owned an orchard spray business and later went into construction work. As a carpenter in Sedona, he was employed by E.R. Baldwin and James Scalf for many years as well as building several spec. homes.

Dare was active in the Church of Christ in West Sedona. and was very instrumental in the construction of the church building.

A grave side service will be held on Wednesday, March 11, at 11:00 a.m., at the All Soul's Cemetery, 700 N. Bill Gray Road, Cottonwood, Ariz.
