Deceased Name: Joseph Webster McDonald, 87, of Stuttgart died Tuesday, March 20, 2001, at his home.
He was born Oct. 4, 1913, in Harrisonburg, La. He was retired from International Paper in Bastrop, La., and he was a member of Jesus Name Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his wife, L.E. Ogden McDonald.

Survivors are two sons, J.W. McDonald Jr. of Harleton, Texas, and Otis Lee McDonald of Porter, Texas; one daughter, Lillian Elois Hall of Stuttgart; one brother, Robert J. McDonald of Bastrop; three sisters, Audrey Brown of Little Rock and Anna Laura White and Rosalee Jones, both of Bastrop; 13 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Jesus Name Church of Christ by Bro. Guy Looper officiating. Burial in Lone Tree Cemetery by Turpin Funeral Home of Stuttgart.

The family suggests memorials be made to Jesus Name Church of Christ.
