Christine was a great woman. Not the kind remembered in some book some place but the kind remembered in the hearts of all those that knew her.
Christine had a great love for just about everything First and formost her children and a very close second CATS Yep she never saw a cat that wasn't cold or hungry and in need of a better home.
She raised 5 children with , as she put it , her own two fists, but really with a big heart. She produced three college grads. the first on either side of the family.
She was loved by many friends and was known as the one that always had time to help someone or take someone to the store and when they would want to pay her for her help she would refuse and if pressured to take something she would just say pay me with tuna. So she got paid with tuna.
The greatest loss in her life was the loss of her eldest daughter Kathy. The greatest remaining gift was the four remaining children and there great accomplishments along with 8 Grand children.
The only redemption in her loss is the knowledge that she is waiting for the rest of us to join her.
She is Loved and missed.Christine Gail (Melton) Brown
