Funeral services for Clifford L. "Bud" Toftum Jr., 54 of Columbia Falls are 2 p.m. Saturday at Columbia Mortuary in Columbia Falls. He died Sunday at his home near Columbia Falls from a heart attack.

He was born Dec. 3, 1942, in Bemidji, Minn., to Clifford and Dolores Toftum. In 1947 the family moved to Columbia Falls, where he attended school.

In 1965 Clifford with his wife and children moved to Bemidji, Minn., Where he began driving grain truck for his uncle and cousin. In 1970, he and his father started their own trucking business. In 1984, Clifford, his wife and son moved back to Columbia Falls where he resided until the time of his death.

Bud loved the mountains, hunting and fishing and growing roses.

He was preceded in death by his father in 1974.

Surviving are his wife, two daughters, one son, four grandchildren, his mother, one brother, two sisters, and numberous aunts, uncles, nieces an nephews.

The Rev. Darrell Newby of the Assembly of God Church in Columbia Falls will officiate at Saturday's service. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbia Falls.

Visitaion will be 10:00 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Columbia Morturary in Columbia Falls.
