EDITH A. HALBERG
Edith A. Halberg, 92, Stanton Rd., Owego and formerly of Candor, N.Y. passed away Friday, Feb. 19, 1965 at the Riverview Rest Home, Owego, N.Y. following a long illness.
She was born in Windsor, N.Y. Dec. 5, 1872, the daughter of Manley and Amelia Bissell Bacon. Mrs. Halberg was the widow of Joseph Halberg. She was a member of the Allen Memorial Baptist Church of Candor.
She is survived by two nieces, Mrs. Anna Evelien of Owego, N.Y. and Mrs. Gladys Schuck of Largo, Fla.
Funeral services were held Monday, Feb, 22, 1965 at 10:30 a.m. from the Allen Funeral Home, Candor, N.Y. Rev. Urban F. Cline, pastor of the Allen Memorial Baptist Church, Candor, officiated. Burial will be made at the convenience of the family in South St. Cemetery, Triangle, N.Y.
