Arthur Carlyle Brigham, 53, of Route 1, Southside, died Friday in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Nashville after a long illness.
Mr. Brigham was an electrician at Austin Peay State University and a World War II veteran. He was born in Montgomery County on May 28, 1922.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at McReynold's Funeral Home with burial in Antioch United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Rev. John Bloodworth will officiate.
He leaves his wife, Edna Bumpus Brigham; his mother, Lula Ledbetter Brigham,; five sons, Arthur Ray Brigham with the U.S. Air Force in Germany, Raymond Donald Brigham with the U.S. Army in South Korea, LeRoy Brigham, with the Air Force in the Philipines, Richard Henry Brigham of Minnesota, and Ronald Norris Brigham of Clarksville; a daughter, Mrs. Judy Butts of Clarksville; two brothers, Norris Brigham and Billy Brigham, both of Clarksville, and five grandchildren.
He was the son of the late Henry Dallas Brigham.
Active pallbearers will be William Rayburn, Billy Wall, Charles R. Waller, Carney Eads, Russell Morris, and Claudious Edmonds.
