Bertha E. Ringer, age 97, of Hartville, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012. She was born in Canton, Ohio on May 15, 1915, to the late Guy and Elizabeth (Swartz) Weisel. Bertha attended the East Nimishillen Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed attending the Lake Community YMCA Arthritic Swim Class. Preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. on Jan. 13, 1992; four brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her three sons, Harold E. "Gene" and Judy Ringer Jr., Larry and Cynthia Ringer, William and Candance Ringer; daughter, Carol and Mark Cassetty; 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; brother, Royal and Jan Weisel. Friends may call Saturday 1-2 p.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home, Hartville. A memorial service will be in the funeral home Saturday 2 p.m. conducted by Pastor Vern Hostetler. Final resting place is St. Jacob's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
