Elizabeth Augustine age 95 formerly of 1915 S 12th Street Sheboygan died Sunday morning March 21, 1999 at Heritage Nursing Center. Born near New Ulm MN 19 November 1903 to the late Joseph W and Mary Therese nee Schreiner Brandl, she graduated from St Mary's HS in Clarks Mills with a 3-year perfect attendance record. On April 22, 1924 she married Bernard C Augustine at St Mary's Church in Clarks Mills. He preceded her in death on March 23, 1981.
Elizabeth was a very family oriented person, doing many things for her sisters and brothers, nieces, nephews and her own family. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting and was a member of St Peter Claver Catholic Church in Sheboygan.
Survivors include daughter Lois (Donald) Wehmeyer-Sheboygan; 3 grandchildren: Linda (Robert) Moxley-Largo FL, Jenny (Scott) Wiese-Grafton, Julie (Rick) Wentz-Sheboygan; 3 great-grandchildren: Benjamin and Emilee Wiese, Sarah Wentz; 2 sisters: Sr Hermangild Brandl and Ann Ebert both of Manitowoc; 3 brothers: Ottmar (Grace) Brandl and Herbert (Arlene) Brandl all of Manitowoc, Jack-Columbus OH.
Preceded in death by daughter Edith Pritzl; 6 brothers: Joseph, Charles, Bernard, Victor, Leonard, Robert; 5 sisters: Verona Riederer, Agnes Mahloch, Rose Budnar, Beatrice "Pat" Steeber, Sophia Brandl. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Elizabeth on Wednesday the 24th at 11 am at St Peter Claver Catholic Church with the Rev Brian Szyszko as celebrant. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at the church 1444 South 11th Street on Wednesday from 10-11am.
