His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Flanagan, the Rev. George Hunt officiating.
Burial will be in Center Cemetery, Flanagan. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Froelich Memorial Home, Flanagan, and one hour before the service at the church.
Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
Mr. Hansen was born June 15, 1912, in rural Flanagan, a son of John G and Elsie Park Hansen. He married Lucille Kutzner on Oct. 20, 1939 at St. John's Lutheran parsonage, Flanagan. She survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Dale (Sheila) Hansen, Lamoille; and Glen (Virginia) Hansen, Flanagan; one daughter, Pastor Ruth Hansen, Nora Springs, Iowa; one brother, Sidney Hansen, Flanagan; one sister Wanda Tammen, Fairbury; four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was a faithful member of St. John's Lutheran Church and a former church council member. He worked as a mechanic for 17 years at the Voss Chevrolet garage. He did state highway maintenance for eight years and was the Nebraska Township road commissioner for 18 years.
