Lorri Ann Davidson, 50, of Newton died Sunday, April 23, 2006 at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

Burial in West Lawn Cemetery in Newton.

Mrs. Davidson was born on March 30, 1956, in Olney, the daughter of William E. and Wanda (Rone) Hull.

She married Ralph Robert Davidson on January 11, 1974 at Falmouth Church of Christ.

During their years together Lorri was a homemaker and an in-home day care provider. She was an active member of Falmouth United Methodist Church as well as Falmouth United Methodist Women, for which she served as secretary.

For many years she coached and kept score for her children's softball and baseball teams. Most recently she was active in Jasper County Relay for Life, where she walked for a team and proudly participated in the numerous survivor activities.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph Robert Davidson, of Newton; her father and mother-in-law, Ralph E. and Ferol Davidson of Newton; sons, Clint Davidson, Paul Davidson and Corey Davidson all of Newton; daughters, Christy Gentry and her husband, Lyle of Newton and Pam Davidson of Newton; two brothers, Rod and James Hull of Olney; and sister, Terri Pippins and her husband, Blaine of Terre Haute, Ind.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Seth Robert Davidson.
