Mrs. Christina W. Knuth, wife of Anton Knuth, passed away today at 4:30 o'clock this morning at the family home in Tompkins Township.
Born Feburary 6, 1885 at Lourds, Illinois, Christina Wahl Knuth was the daughter of Walter and Eva Wahl. In 1902 she was married at Washburn, Illinois to Anton Knuth, who survives with the following children: Conrad of Ormonde, Marcus of Dallas City, Francis of Galesburg, Mrs. Alma Johnson of this city, and Mrs. Anselma Chick of Ponemah. There are 21 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Knuth also leaves three brothers: Conrad Wahl of Kansas City, Missouri, Peter Wahl of Fairfax, Minnasota, and John, whose address is unknown, and two sisters Rose Hutson of Knoxville, Illinois, and Miss Katie Wahl of Galesburg.
As a child Mrs. Knuth was confirmed in the Catholic Church and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church here.
Funeral services are tentatively planned for 9:00 am Wednesday at the Immaculate Conception Church, with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.
The Rosary will be recited at 8:00 pm Tuesday at the Turnbull Funeral Home, where friends may call.
