Daisy is a daughter or Edwin B. Whitfield and Alice E. Roth. She was born and raised in Clarksville, TN, where on 27 Dec 1897 she married Charles E. Meriwether; they were the parents of two sons, Charles Jr. and William Douglas Meriwether. Sometime between 1904 and 1910 the family moved to New Orleans, where Daisy lived the remainder of her life.
