Evelyn Martin Warlick 84, was a resident of Beavercreek, Ohio for the last 41 years. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama and married to John H. Warlick, Jr. for 64 years. She was a long-time member of Aley United Methodist Church in Beavercreek. Evelyn was active in Friendship Force for many years traveling overseas and hosting visitors from other countries at her house in Beavercreek. She and her husband, John, were charter members of Wright B. Flyer, Inc. for over 30 years. Evelyn was instrumental in fundraising while John was building or flying the Wright B. Flyer (Military Flyer). Evelyn and John traveled with the Wright B. Flyer around the US and overseas. The Wright B. Flyer Hangar is named after John and Evelyn. Most important to Evelyn was family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Katie Sue Martin; sisters, Katherine Kicker of Montgomery, AL and Jane Joyner Haller of Gulfport, MS. She is survived by her husband, John Warlick; daughter, Judy Simmons of Beavercreek, Ohio; son, Tim Warlick (Nadine) of Tucson, AZ, 9 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 17, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Tobias Funeral Home-Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall Rd. Funeral will be held Saturday, August 13, at 1:00 pm at Elmwood Cemetery, Birmingham, Alabama.
