U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War
Served as a Tomb Guard Sentinal at the Tomb of the Unknowns at Arlington National Cemetery.
Member of American Legion Post No. 250 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107.

His parents; wife; and eleven brothers and sisters preceded him in death.
