Esther APLIN THOMAS
Esther APLIN THOMAS was born August 2, 1864 in Hocking County, Ohio. At the age of six she, with her parents Mr. and Mrs. William APLIN moved to West Virginia and located near Gay where she lived until 24 years ago when with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. W. L. EVANS, moved to Ripley where she lived the remainder of her life.
About the year 1873 (?) she was united in marriage to Thomas WAYBRIGHT. To this union two children were born, William WAYBRIGHT, of Gay Route, and Mrs. W. L. EVANS of Ripley. Later in life she was united in marriage to George THOMAS. To this union one daughter was born, who preceded her in death.
She leaves to mourn her loss one son Mr. William WAYBRIGHT, one daughter, Mrs. W. L. EVANS , 9 grandchildren, Mrs. Thelma OLDHAM, Mrs. Freda LLOYD, Mrs. Elva PARRISH, Mrs. Esther DICKESS, Mrs. Ruth HYRE, Mrs. Marie WAYBRIGHT, Edra, James and Wayne WAYBRIGHT, and 18 great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
