HAUSMANN, Joseph, P, was born in St Clair County in 1867, a son of Peter Hausmann, who came to the United States in 1846 at once locating in this county where he has since followed the industry of farming. In 1898 Joseph P came to Belleville and opened a grocery store and now carries a full line of groceries, provisions, and seeds. In 1892, Mr Hausmann was married to Anna Berkel, a native of Georgetown and they are the parents of the following four children: Stella, Edwin, Alfonso and Adelaide.
