Pluto Resident Taken By Death

H. Sanford Meadows, 66, Pluto, died in a local hospilal at 11:30 p. m. Wednesday.

He is survived iy his wife, one brother,, a sister, and several children.

Born at Pluto. Aug. 9, 1891, he was the son of the late Samuel L. and Betty Richmond Meadows.

He was a member of the Pluto Log Baptist Church. He was a farmer, and a lumberman.

Survivors include his wife, Stella Ward Meadows, Pluto; Ihree daughters, Mrs. Ernest Smith, Shady Spring; Mrs. Stam Regas, Beechbottom, W. Va.; Mrs. Denvil Meadows, Pluto; five sons, James, H. S. Jr., and Ray, all of PIuto, Bobby and Tommy, both of Akron, 0.; one broher, Billy, PIuto; one sister, Mrs. Lula Richmond, Sandstone. Fifteen grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at the Pluto Log Baptist Church. The Rev. Ralph Malcolm. Hinton, and the Rev. Johnny Garten, Abraham, will officate. Burial will be made in the Meadows Family cemetery at Pluto.

The body will be removed from the Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home to the residence at 10 a. m. Saturday.
